- 1 cup butter
 - 1 cup sugar
 - 2 tsp baking powder
 - 2 cups flour
 - 1 cup sliced Brazil nuts
 
- Cream the butter and sugar together. Mix in the baking powder, flour, and Brazil nuts.
 - Chill dough then shape into ¾ inch balls. Place on a baking sheet and press a slice of Brazil nut onto each cookie.
 - Bake at 325° for 15 to 20 minutes.
